educator, researcher, author and trauma expert focused on diversity, equity, inclusion and serving kids with marginalized identities

For Parents & Caregivers

There's no training manual for raising kids with complex needs.

Thriving kids depend on empowered adults.

For Parents and Caregivers

No caregiver is 100% sure they’re doing it right 100% of the time.

(Isn’t it a relief just to hear that?)

Enlisting outside guidance doesn’t mean you’re “not doing it right” — it means you’re doing everything you can to resource yourself with the tools you need to help your child be their best self.

How I support

Caregiver Coaching

Everyone needs an ear and some new ideas from time to time. Whether your child has a trauma history, disabilities, is making sense of their identity, or is just going through a tough phase, I offer practical consultation to help you both navigate bumps in the road.

Group Learning

There’s no onboarding manual to prepare you for your job as a parent, so it’s easy to feel like you don’t know what you’re doing. I host online and in-person workshops for caregivers. Get on my email list to find out about upcoming offerings or check out my series, Fostering Resilience.

I loved the format of lectures and discussions in groups. The materials are amazing. I felt valued for what I brought to the group, I felt respected, and I learned so much.
